有机硅阻燃剂是近年来正在开发的新型无卤阻燃荆,也是一种成碳型抑烟剂,它在赋予聚合物优异阻燃抑烟性的同时,还改善材料的加工性能,提高材料的机械性能,特别是低温冲击强度。有机硅阻燃剂与卤素类阻燃剂、金属皂、氢氧化铝、多磷酸胺、SiO2等有协同作用,能促进炭化层的形成,提高阻燃性,抑制烟雾,防止融滴。在ABS树脂中,有机硅一金属皂复合体系比十淇联苯醚,Sb2O3复合体系的阻燃效果要好。在有机硅,金属皂复合体系中,添加SiO2能够明显促进SiC形成,有助于复合体系阻燃性的提高。常用的有机硅阻燃剂有硅酮化合物、硅树脂、硅橡胺等。
